The installation instructions suck. Tip, use the existing bolt that is welded to the bracket minus the washer. Then install the other bolt upside down so it doesn’t interfere with the shift linkage on the bottom, then cut the excess bolt off to install upper shift boot. Use thread lock on anything you can, put it on even if you need to take the shifter apart to apply. I also installed a new shift boot, and e-brake boot, from ImportsExtreme.com. Absolutely a fine product and well, well, worth it! The rest of my interior will come from them, no question!
